Never a Dull Moment!

June 2nd already...so much has been going on I kind of forgot about my blog!!

My trip home to Ontario with Steve in May was a great time as always, still never enough time to see everyone but I tried my best. Thanks Aunt Linda, Uncle Ken, Chrysann, Kevin, Susan, Amy and the boys (who are adorable!) and Paul for coming to Hagersville to visit. Thanks to Christy and Grant, Tim, Sherry and Mike for coming down for Chinese food with me too! What a lot of fun and a lot of laughs catching up with everyone!!! Thanks to Pat and Dan for the use of their trailer Thursday night as well! Steve sends a special thanks to Kristie and Greg for making him feel so much at home :o) and looks forward to you coming down for another visit here sometime! He also thought my parents and family are great people and enjoyed getting to know mom and dad and from what I hear the feelings are mutual. Whew!!! Hahaha! We had a great time in Dover the day before Friday the 13th...not into the crowd thing and also enjoyed lunch with the HBBS folks then a drive to Niagara Falls.

Steve really enjoyed Ontario and says he would move there in a heartbeat if and when I ever move back. Unfortunately for him I still own a home and am just starting a job I am really enjoying so I don't see that move happening in the near future. Never say never though....that is a big lesson I have learned in the past year.

Once I returned to New Brunswick it was back to work. I spent the first two days after the long weekend in Fredericton getting to know my coworkers there and attending a fundraiser and a staff appreciation night. How nice to be appreciated after only one week of work and was made to feel very welcomed! Had a great time there. Now that I am back to working full time in the new job and becoming familiar with what it entails I am really enjoying it.

Last Saturday night I attended my first party which was a 50th birthday bash for my friend Diane's sister. It was held at a camp out in the woods at an area called McDougal. There was lots of food, amazing talent by Trudy and Sharon on guitars and singing, Sally played the spoons so fast I couldn't see her hands and another lady on the mandolin! What a night of laughs and music...didn't get home til three in the morning but had an awesome time!!!

Soon my first visitors of the summer Tawny and Katie will be arriving and then Bev, Sandy and Angela. I can't wait to see them!!!

I think that's it for now....again thanks to all of my family and friends in Ontario...hope to see you again soon, my place next time!! :o) xoxoxoxoxox
