I was chatting with this guy last night from Fredericton and he asked me where in Ontario I am from. I told him born and raised in Haldimand County then moved to Brantford where I lived for about 15 years before moving here. As it turns out, he too is from Brantford and has lived here for 11 years now. It's a small world for sure, we both agreed.
The giggles actually started when I was reading this guys profile. It said all the things he likes to do...camping, fishing, long drives, etc. etc... Then his hobbies: hatchet catching and overhand bowling!!! So, he has a sense of humour..this is always good. Then I read further down..what he would like in a woman! Must have a good sense of humour, big heart, and her own fork truck (please send picture of fork truck)! Well....needless to say I was laughing so hard I could not respond to his message.
So after composing myself somewhat, a conversation ensued between the two of us for a bit, talked about music and his life driving campers from one end of the country to the other and how his truck was in the garage for a few days. He made the comment that he has 130,000 km on it so its time it needed work done to it. I just couldn't resist...I mean he set me up!! So I replied: Yeah I know what you mean, that's what my dr. said about my boobs!!! Apparently that comment sent his icetea through his nose!!
Well, that's about it for my giggles today. It's nice to meet new people, even if it is just chatting online and not really knowing who or what is on the other end. Still, it's harmless enough and good for a laugh!
For those who may be concerned for my safety...I would never meet anyone alone, at night or anywhere other than a public place!
